The Noora Wetsuit Guide
We love to be on the water all year round. Cold water doesn't have to mean short sessions and this guide is written to help you find the suit that matches your needs.
Choosing the right wetsuit is about more than thickness. At Noora, we combine different neoprene thicknesses, linings and outer materials to create warmth, comfort and freedom of movement for women who spend time on the water.
Whether you're heading out for an autumn sail, foil, chasing waves or simply refusing to let the season end, this guide will help you find your match.
01. START WITH THE WATER TEMPERATURE
The water temperature is the best place to start when choosing your wetsuit. Kindly note that the water temperatures are a starting point. Wind, activity level, session length and your individual tolerance to cold can all affect what feels comfortable.
Depending on if you prefer a 2-piece wetsuit or a fullbody, we have it all.
2-PIECE WETSUITS
A versatile two-piece option designed to adapt to changing conditions. Wear it as a full suit on colder days, or remove the jacket when temperatures rise - giving you the flexibility to stay warm on the water throughout the season.
| WATER TEMPERATURE | RECOMMENDED SUIT |
|---|---|
| 20°C+ / 68°F+ | 1,5 mm Summer Suits (optional Jacket) |
| 18°C+ / 64°F+ | 2 mm Long Jane (optional Jacket) |
| 12–20°C / 54-68°F | 3 mm Long Jane + 2 mm Jacket |
| 8–16°C / 46-61°F | 3 mm Long Jane (RE:thermo) + 2 mm or 3/2 mm Jacket |
| 6-12°C / 43-54°F | 4 mm Long Jane (RE:thermo) + 3/2 mm Jacket |
FULLBODY WETSUITS
Designed for women looking for an all-in-one solution for colder conditions.

02. WHAT MAKES A WETSUIT WARM?
Wetsuit warmth isn't only about thickness. The inner lining and outer material play a big role in how warm, comfortable and protected you feel on the water. We all experience cold differently - which is why we have different options.

★ NEOPRENE THICKNESS
The thicker the neoprene, the more insulation it provides. But thickness is only part of the equation, and it's important to not compromise freedom of movement.
★ PCX+ - STANDARD RECYCLED JERSEY
Our standard interior material is called PCX+ and is made from yarn produced from recycled fabrics. It offers excellent flexibility, comfort and freedom of movement.
★ RE:THERMO - EXTRA WARMTH
If you prefer to be extra warm, you should consider our warmer thermal lining called RE:thermo, designed to help retain body heat and keep you warmer for longer.
★ RUBBER MESH - EXTRA WIND PROTECTION
Our Rubber Mesh is an outer material that helps protect against wind chill, making it particularly useful in cold and windy conditions.
*The warmest suit has a combination of materials RE:THERMO + RUBBER MESH.
03. FIND YOUR NOORA
